On Sunday (6/19) the Missionaries will be hosting new friends from Baltimore, Small Sur! This show will take place at 1515 Roanoke Ave. with donations requested for the traveling group. On Friday (Jan. 7th) the Shadowbox on Kirk Ave. downtown will show a documentary this blogger is very excited about. Marwencol is a film documenting the life of a man with a battered memory after being beaten to the point of near death. He chooses to recreate moments of his life through a small town he built and designed himself with a cast of characters he has based around the real people in his life. Although he lives in the present he lives out his new life in World War 2 Germany. Starting at 8pm you should not miss this film!

On Saturday (Jan. 8th) the Bazaar on Brandon Rd. will host three great acts. Fine Linens will be playing with Williamsburg guests Goodwill Falcon and Lynchburg band Rugby. This show starts at 9pm and will cost you only $5!

Have a good week everyone and we’ll see you here same time next week!
