This Monday (August 9th) resurrected Floyd venue, the Sun Music Hall will host a killer show not to be missed! Joe Jack Talcum, founding member of legendary punk rockers the Dead Milkmen will be playing a solo set of acoustic songs. Opening for him will be Roanoke favorites, the Bastards of Fate! Doors open at 6pm with the show soon to follow. This show will kick off a short tour for the Bastards and Talcum starting in Floyd and ending in Columbia, South Carolina. On the tour the gang will be stopping in Athens, Georgia for the city’s well known Athens Popfest. Athens Popfest will not only host the Bastards of Fate and Joe Jack but also Mission of Burma, Apples In Stereo, Circulatory System and many more. So come out Monday to Sun Music Hall to say hello to Joe Jack and wish the Bastards safe travel. While you’re there grab a wood fire oven baked pizza from Dogtown Roadhouse!
